ABOUT ME

Yoga has been a profound force in my life—one that continues to inspire, ground, and transform. My purpose as a teacher is to share this ancient practice in a way that helps others reconnect with their inner stillness and peace. I believe yoga is for everyone, and I hold true to the idea that if you can breathe, you can do yoga.

With more than 15 years on the yoga journey, I offer a rich foundation of experience and a teaching style grounded in compassion and care. Each class is guided by a focus on safety, inclusivity, and the breath—used as a gentle doorway to inner awareness. Through mindful breathing and movement, we create space within the body and mind, releasing tension and inviting a sense of calm and clarity.

I began teaching in Sydney after completing the comprehensive 460-hour IYTA Yoga Teacher Training, and have since expanded my studies to include Restorative, Yin, and Pre & Postnatal yoga.

Every year I continue to study further and am currently working my way through a 300 hour Advanced Yoga Teacher training.

As a Devonport local and mum of three, I understand the daily dance of balancing work, family, and everything in between. Amid the beautiful chaos, yoga has been my steady anchor—helping me stay calm, centred, and present with my children. It’s through this practice that I continue to find moments of peace, clarity, and joy woven into everyday life.

WHY PRACTICE YOGA?

While the benefits of yoga are widely known and easy to find online, these are the ones I hold closest to heart:

  • Enhances mobility and flexibility
Yoga gently opens the body, improving range of motion and helping you move with greater ease.

  • Soothes the mind
By grounding your awareness in breath and movement, yoga invites you to step out of the busy mind and into the present moment.

  • Relieves stress
Through mindful breathing and physical release, yoga helps dissolve tension and restore calm.

  • Cultivates inner balance
Regular practice nurtures emotional resilience, helping you respond to life with clarity rather than react impulsively.
